Welcome back to the all new fall season of FIF! If you missed homecoming Sunday today, you missed a great service.

Next week the whole church, us included, will be back to our regular programming schedule. As per our vote, the start time for class on Sunday morning will be 9:30 AM in the usual room (south end of the third floor, at the end of the short hallway by the nursery).

We'll talk about what direction we want to take in our studies and talk about what service and social activities we've thought up over the summer, and anything else you want to talk about. Some ideas for studies I have thought about have been going back to another Bible Study or something something a little different like The Gospel According to the Simpsons or St. Paul Returns to the Movies. Also, I have a few ideas of social activities we can do but I'm blanking out on service stuff, so I'm eager to hear your ideas.

Liz and I will supply the snacks this week, as well as the sign-up sheet for snacks in the next few weeks.

Finally I'd like to welcome Andrea, Jeffery, Kurt, and Trevor to the list. And I'd like to welcome our newest members in the most literal possible sense, Olivia Dresden and Bastien Beaubien. And I want to thank Caroline for stepping up and agreeing to take on some of the organizing and activities for FIF.
