To get to our boat take I-94 to the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron. Cross over. Bring license, birth certificate or passport in order to come back home. Take the first real exit to the right after you get off the bridge to Front Street/Pte Edward. At the stop sign go north (left) to the second stop signal which is Michigan Ave. and turn left (west). Go about five blocks to Alfred and turn right (north). Go about four blocks to where you see a red brick high rise apartment building. Turn left into the gate marked Lake Huron Yachts on the near side of the high rise building. Proceed along the bike path fence, along the row of boats, Park your cars and walk down to the hill to the second set of docks. If you need the rest rooms they are there and can be accessed by punching in 1-3-5 and turning the knob. We do have facilities on the boat but the shore side equipment is easier for those not used to marine heads. The name of the boat is Sun Quest. It is beige in color and has the name displayed for easy identification. If you have need of more directions call me on my cell that morning 248-752-6959. Join us for another night of food and fellowship as we bid Victor farewell. We will be doing the Royal Oak Pub Crawl, starting at Lily's at 7pm. Tickets are $10 before Tuesday, or $15 on Tuesday and may be purchased at Lily's. If you just want to stop for dinner, no need to buy a ticket, just meet us there at 7. Pub crawl for pets

You can get on all-fours next month, at least figuratively, to help out animals next month. Royal Oak restaurants will host a pub crawl on Tuesday, Aug. 9, to benefit the Royal Oak Animal Shelter.

Tickets costs $10 in advance or $15 the day of the crawl. Tickets are available at the 16 participating restaurants and bars: Andiamo Osteria, Bastone, Gusoline Alley, Lily's Seafood Grill & Brewery, Memphis Smoke, Monterrey Cantina, Mr. B's, O'Tooles, Oxford Inn, Pronto!, Rock on Third, Royal Oak Brewery, Rumors, Sangria, Tom's Oyster Bar and Woody's Diner. All proceeds go to the animal shelter.
